TV Manager
TV Manager is the staff tool for everything that happens around in-room TVs: watching their status, turning screens off and on, handling guest check-in and service requests, and setting up new TVs.
Open pullman-tv-manager.namjun-account.workers.dev and sign in with your staff account.
The menu on the left is grouped into three areas:
| Area | Screens |
|---|---|
| Monitoring & Control | TVs |
| Guest Service | Service Requests (check-in and check-out are on the TVs screen) |
| Provisioning & Preset | Preset (TV registrations are on the TVs screen) |
Every screen updates live. You do not need to refresh.
Monitoring & Control
The TVs screen lists every installed TV with its serial number, room, the current guest, room status, and power.
Reading the Power column
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🟢 On | The TV is online and its screen is on |
| 🟢 Screen off | The TV is online; the screen is off but the TV is still running |
| ⚪ Offline | The TV has not reported in for more than about a minute |
A TV reports its status every 30 seconds. If it misses a little over two reports in a row, it is shown as Offline and its power buttons are disabled. Common causes are a TV that is unplugged, a network problem in the room, or a TV that was switched off at the wall.
Turning a screen off and on
Use the On, Off, and Reboot buttons in the Power column.
- Off turns the screen off. The TV keeps running in the background, so it stays online and you can turn it back on from here.
- On turns the screen back on.
- Reboot restarts the TV. It will show as Offline for a short time and then come back.
Why "Off" does not cut the power: a TV that is fully powered down cannot be reached over the network, so it could not be turned back on remotely. Turning only the screen off keeps the TV reachable. This relies on the
instant_powersetting in the Preset — it must stay at2.
Guest Service
Check-in
On the TVs screen, find the room's TV and press Check In.
- Enter the guest's name.
- Press Check In.
The guest is registered to the room, the room is marked as occupied, and the TV prepares a clean state for the stay and restarts. The TV will greet the guest by name.
Check-out
Press Check Out on the room's TV and confirm.
The guest's stay is closed, the room is marked vacant, the guest's phone is disconnected from the TV, and the TV restores the clean state prepared at check-in — clearing the guest's viewing history and data — before restarting.
Room devices (lights, temperature, Do Not Disturb) are not reset at check-out by TV Manager. They will be handled by the IoT Room Manager.
Service requests
Open Service Requests. Requests that guests send from their phones appear here immediately.
Each request moves through these steps:
| Status | What to do |
|---|---|
| Pending | New request. Press Start when someone takes it. |
| In Progress | Being handled. Press Done ✓ when it is finished. |
| Done | Completed. |
| Cancelled | Press Cancel on a pending or in-progress request if it will not be handled. |
Use the filter at the top to switch between active requests, completed ones, and all of them. You can also create a request on a guest's behalf with the New Request button — for example after a phone call from the room.
Provisioning & Preset
Registered TVs
A TV registers itself the first time it is installed — see TV Installation. Registered TVs appear on the TVs screen. For each TV you can:
- Deactivate / Reactivate — mark a TV as out of service without removing it.
- Remove — delete the registration.
Re-installing a TV
To run the setup screen on a TV again (for example after moving it to another room), Remove its registration and restart the TV. The TV will show the setup screen on its next start.
Deactivate is not enough. A deactivated TV that restarts shows the setup screen, but it cannot complete setup while its old registration still exists. Remove the registration instead.
Pre-registering a TV
Pre-register TV lets you register a TV by its serial number and room before it is installed. The TV then skips the setup screen and starts straight in guest mode.
Caution: a pre-registered TV skips setup, so the Preset is not applied to it. In particular
instant_powermay be left at its factory value, and remote screen on/off will not work for that TV. Prefer letting TVs set themselves up unless you have a reason not to.
The address to give installers
The top of the TVs screen shows the ProCentric server address that is set in the hotel's TV head-end. See TV Installation.
Preset
The Preset screen holds the TV settings that are applied automatically when a TV sets itself up. Changes apply to TVs installed from now on. TVs that are already installed keep their current settings until they are re-installed.

Settings to be careful with
instant_powermust be1or2for remote on/off to work, and2is the right choice: with1the TV app restarts every time the screen is turned off, and with0a TV turned off remotely cannot be turned back on. The screen warns you if you set anything else.- Reboot required should only be ticked for settings that really need it.
Only
display_resolution,browser_debug_mode, andblock_usbdo. Ticking it for others makes every installation restart the TV for no reason.
If the preset cannot be loaded during installation, TVs fall back to the default preset above, so installation is never blocked.
